Individual Talk Therapy
In talk therapy, we focus on understanding your thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a way that feels grounded and supportive. This work is especially helpful if you want help naming what you’re feeling and understanding how past experiences influence current relationships, and your sense of self. Talk therapy is also helpful with learning new ways to respond to stress, emotions, and relationships challenges.
Sessions often include exploring:
anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout
grief and loss
self-worth and identity
relationship patterns and boundaries
life transitions and decision-making
We’ll look at how your coping strategies developed, what may no longer be serving you, and how to build skills that feel more aligned with who you are now. Talk therapy can be a stand-alone approach or a foundation for deeper work, including EMDR or other integrative methods.
My Approach
My approach blends evidence-based methods with a holistic perspective, tailored to meet your specific needs. Depending on what feels most supportive, I may draw from:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Narrative Therapy
Sound Healing Therapy
Each of these approaches offers different tools for healing and growth, and together we’ll use what best supports your goals.
