Therapy that cares for your mind and body.
Trauma-informed & holistic support for real change.
Do you sense that something isn’t quite right, even if you don’t know how to name it yet? You may be just starting to explore your experiences and wanting deeper understanding of yourself. Maybe you have spent time reflecting and processing and have an understanding of your story, yet still feel overwhelmed, overextended, disconnected, or stuck
Insight matters, but sometimes, insight alone isn’t enough.
My approach to therapy supports both understanding and your nervous system. Together, we focus on creating safety that isn’t just something you think about, but something you begin to feel in your body and in your life.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
— Carl Jung

I moved to Nashville from Michigan and decided to call it home after finishing college. My passion for helping people through life’s challenges, along with my own personal journey in therapy, inspired me to earn a master’s degree in marital and family therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University. Having navigated my own experiences with grief and other life challenges, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding into the therapy room.
Outside of my work, I love spending time with loved ones, catching a good psychological thriller or reality TV show, playing games, and hosting karaoke nights.
My Approach
My work is open to adults from many walks of life and often resonates with professionals, caregivers, creatives, and high achievers. Many of the people I work with are used to prioritizing others or their work and have lost touch with how to make space for themselves. I also support people whose difficulty with emotion regulation affects their daily life and success.
While I do not offer couples/family therapy at the time, I love to support people in gaining a better understanding of how they show up in relationships. We focus on building healthier patterns and making healthier relational choices. My practice integrates talk therapy and mind–body practices grounded in the understanding that healing often involves both mind and body.

Understanding Insurance
Insurance for therapy can feel confusing, so here are some important things to know:
A diagnosis is required. Insurance companies only cover therapy they consider “medically necessary.” This means I must provide a mental health diagnosis (such as depression, anxiety, or PTSD) for reimbursement. That diagnosis then becomes part of your permanent medical record.
Coverage depends on your plan. Every plan is different. Ask your insurance provider about your mental health benefits specifically, since they may not be the same as your medical coverage.
Check your deductible. Some plans require you to meet a deductible before insurance begins paying. This means you may be responsible for the full session fee until that amount is met.
Superbills for out-of-network coverage. If you don’t have insurance, I can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt for sessions). You can then submit this to your insurance company. Ask your provider if you have out-of-network benefits and what percentage they will reimburse.
Know your session limits. Some insurance companies limit the number of sessions they will cover per year or require ongoing reviews for continued coverage.
Confidentiality considerations. Because insurance requires a diagnosis and ongoing updates, that information is stored in your medical file. Some clients choose to self-pay to keep therapy private and separate from insurance records.
Cancellations and no-shows: Insurance will only reimburse completed sessions that meet their guidelines for coverage. Late cancellations and missed appointments are not billable to insurance, so clients are responsible for those fees.
